What was your inspiration?

Every time I saw a cute embellished pocket on a pair of jeans I thought it would be so cute as the pocket on a Kindle/Nook cover!

What are you most proud of?

Very elaborate finished case, so easy to make! This pattern makes the zipper installation SUPER easy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take the pattern with you shopping. The variety of construction in jeans and sizes will make some jeans ineligible. There has to be a bit of fabric above the pocket to sew on the zipper. The size has to be big enough to make the cover pattern piece fit. Children's sizes would be too small. I used about a size 12 women's and had some room to spare.
