Sewing: Kid's Bowling Shirt

Instructions

I used a basic button shirt type pattern, but took panels and sewed them in prior to cutting the pieces in order to create the "stripes."
The helicopter stripes are surrounded by solid lime ones.

On the back, I used my cricut machine to cut a G which I placed on a green circle to give it that vintage look.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Children

Style: Funky, Casual, Hipster, Cute

Materials

basic cotton quilting material

What was your inspiration?

Charlie on Two and a Half Men and the lack of cool boys clothing patters!

What are you most proud of?

How I adjusted the rather plain pattern to make it something cool. I wish I would have taken a photo of the back, the big letter on the back is too cute.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

mark pieces for left and right if your stripes aren't identical widths (see the inner green stripe is more narrow then the outer one.
