What was your inspiration?
Needing more full sun flowers and plants, had run out of space so had to use middle of front yard.
What are you most proud of?
Healthy plants and can add annuals each year down front, street side to add strongest color.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure to be aware of topography of the yard and work with it. I have side to side rows and had to work the 'kidney' shape against that type of movement. Wanted the end result to be attractive and flowing. We get EVERYONE'S runoff and that's the reason for the 'rows', unfortunately but the original engineers, or lack thereof, made the best use of our property so as not to totally destroy it when the rains come! And I have it smack in the middle of the front yard so as to catch that sunshine!
