Sweet Paprika Minuet (100% superwash merino wool; 50g/110 yds), 8 skeins Steel Rail Blues.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to include a pullover in the Sweet Paprika Cloudy Day Collection. I loved the idea of a square neckline and had the color in mind and then went from there.

What are you most proud of?

I love the details in this design, I-cord bind-off, mitered corners, smocking pattern. It gives the sweater a very finished look without being fussy.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This pattern is perfect for showing off a beautiful yarn! I would stick with a solid or semi-solid color though. Don't be scared by the slightly more advanced techniques required (provisional cast-on, I-cord bind-off, etc) - they are all described in the pattern.
