What was your inspiration?
I made this for a fund raiser for our Art's League in our community. I knew that baby items are always a draw.
What are you most proud of?
I loved the way the quilt came together, and that it brought in the highest amount of cash of anything including very large oil paintings. It was presented in a silent auction, turned to a bidding war and ended at 350.00.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Again, you must calculate the block size and shape and incorporate this into your final size. I did all the free motion quilting to finish as well.
