What materials did you use? Tulle, bias tape, buttons, magnetic closure, satin ribbon & pink silk Dogwood blooms.

What are you most proud of? I made this from scratch. I had a vision in my mind and ran with it! It is kid tough and ready to grow with the child. There are two buttons for growth on the hidden waistband. The satin bow is attached by the magnetic closure, so it can be taken off before washing. The bow itself was tacked in place by fabric glue. I placed the bow, so when you use the extra button for growth, you won't see the waistband. The feedback from family has been great and I have been asked to make one a little smaller for a two year old.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be organized and make sure your sewing machine and needle can handle the bulk when sewing the tulle layers to the bias tape / waistband. I chose not to make it elastic, I thought it would be less comfortable for the child.

Thank you very much! I know you will have fun making one! I enjoyed making it because I envisioned my niece twirling endlessly around in it!
