What are you most proud of? The fact that I had no idea how to do this and I just kinda googled different techniques and instructions and used my own instincts to make it all fall in place.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is not as easy as it looks. Don't continue sewing when you are sleepy. I spent a few hours undoing stitches because they were backwards and upside down. Take your time and don't work against a deadline. This took me 18 days to make and that was staying up til nearly 5am every day.

Love the idea of using a loved ones clothing to create a keepsake. Thanks for sharing!

This is awesome. I know how hard it can be to match up those blocks and you did a fabulous job. I am sure your grandfather was very touched by such a thoughtful gift!

This is beautiful! It reminds me of one my grandmother use to have on her beds as a little girl going to stay at her house. It always kept me so warm. This brought back such great memories I know it did your grandfather too! Love It!!
