I used two charm squares right sides together using a 1/4in seam. Cut along the diagonal twice and came out with 4 half triangles. I trimmed them down to 3x3 in. For the border I used 2.5 x 5 in blocks and changed the solid blocks to left over pinwheels.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
My friend and future sister in law is expecting her first baby in October. I wanted to make a quilt for her and I just love pinwheels.
What are you most proud of?
How well the pinwheels turned out. It was my first go at pinwheels and I was really pleased with how easy it was and how well they lined up when sewing the rows together, and how colorful it is. the photos really don't do it justice.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just because a pattern looks hard, doesn't mean it is. Don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone.
