I had to alter the pattern to get this effect. I rated it a "2" because putting that binding around the curve is tricky.Difficulty:

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I've seen others that just tie a ribbon around the waist. I don't like it. I have a velcro closing in front and I insert elastic in a casing in the back and then insert the remainder of the ties in the side seam. These ties are not removable so cannot get lost.
