What was your inspiration?
I saw this pattern in a magazine and just fell in love with the daisys. The original pattern used ginghams with ladybugs but I don't like to make a quilt exactly the same as another quilt. I like to put my own spin on things. Plus I needed a christmas gift for my younger sister.
What are you most proud of?
How well the appilque turned out. I had some issuses with the heat n bond ( i didnt know how to use it correctly) and had to pin all the flowers.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just go for it! Applique looks tricky but it really isnt.
