What was your inspiration?
This pattern was inspired by a project I made for myself a few years ago, a simple wristlet bag for coin purse keys and phone so that I didn't take my good leather handbag to the pool or beach.
What are you most proud of?
The instructions use measurements so that beginners don't need to get the exact number of picked up stitches for the top section.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be a little careful with the yarn amounts, I used two balls of Katia Linda for the one with the flower and 1 skein of Malabrigo Organic cotton for the plain one with heart button but I had very little yarn left in both cases. If you are unsure of your yarn amount and hate to frog back and start over then you can reduce the number of starting chain to make a slightly smaller bag.
