I absolutely love the way you made the solid blue portion. Can you share how you did that ? I have never seen it done before and love how it makes you patchwork just shine as the centerpiece

The pattern I used was for the blocks only, so what I did may be a bit strange, but it worked. I layed out the blocks on the bed I was making it for, and put it together. Once the blocks were done, I just measured what I needed to make it as long over the side I wanted. I have found that alot of blankets/quilts and such are never as long as I want them, so this is much bigger than a traditional queen size.
