Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?

Difficulty:

Category: Paper Crafts

Type of item: Functional

For: Women

Style: Traditional

Materials

Kaiser pattern, Graphic 45 paper, paint, glue, Brads, etc.

What was your inspiration?

I needed a storage system to organize my small clips, brads, buttons. This is functional and looks nice in a scrap room.

What are you most proud of?

I love the way the graphic paper worked on this project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Takes a little time but really a nice project. Fun to do.

Thank you, This is a kit from Kaiser Craft from my local craft store or you may order on line. I just chose my paint and used the line of paper called graphics 45 Steampunk Debutante Collection. Paint all pieces first then glue together with a very strong glue. the drawers must be glued also. I then decorated the box with paper, cutting some of the pieces out. Also used some knobs from the same line, and metal frames purchased from Michaels. Since the picture I have used small long metal frames put on with brads so I can label each drawer. Last I sprayed the entire project with a Acrylic Sealer matte finish. I love the look and keep my small brads, buttons, cutters, etc organized. It looks great on a shelf in a scrap booking room.

It is thicker than chipboard but no wood, the drawers are heavy duty chipboard.

I purchased the un-assembled project box from a local craft store or you can order on. Then chose my color and papers and the knobs and designed as I went. I then sprayed with a clear matte finished sealer. Use a good glue to hold the project and drawers together. Have Fun.
