What was your inspiration?
This shirt was made for my son's 4 year old birthday. I made two of these for his 3rd birthday; those photos are above too.
What are you most proud of?
The appliqued robot makes me smile. It was a last-minute addition just to make the shirt a little more fun. It did the trick!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a simple project using basic construction skills. If you're new to sewing I suggest you give it a try because you'll learn a few new garment construction skills. I also suggest you consider making the first shirt using snaps instead of buttons for a quick finish.
