What materials did you use? Cottons, most of which were given to me by friends in a birthday fat quarter swap.

What are you most proud of? This quilt was entirely hand stitched, at 10 - 12 stitches per inch. The applique is hand-applied, and it took four years to complete. This quilt has won numerous awards, and graces the front of the June/July issue of Quilters Newsletter.

I can't imagine losing this quilt. It would be like losing a child. 4 years in the making and gone.

I would like to know if any progress has been made about this lost quilt. I would also like to know how Quilters Newsletter handled this loss, which happened when the quilt was in their possession. I have not heard good things in this regard.

No progress at all, BJohn. Can you elaborate on what you have heard?

Sorry, I just saw this. I think the way I first found out about your missing quilt was when I read a blog post about it, and the blogger pretty much blasted QN for not doing enough to find your quilt and for not taking responsibility for its loss. But I don't remember where I read it or what they specifically said anymore. I certainly hope you found the quilt. It's such a travesty.

Thanks, BJohn. The quilt is still missing.
