What was your inspiration?

My dear friend who is Mr. Fix it himself had a run in (or off) a ladder recently and has been in hospital for a few weeks, he will be there for some months, after hitting his head and breaking his back. I had this matterial in my stash and knew just who needed it.

What are you most proud of?

I made it very simple, as I wanted him to have it in hospital as he recovered, since it is only a lap quilt I managed to get it finished in only a week.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Log cabin is very simple - and if you pick your colours right it can stand right out like a 3D.
