Wool yarn, dye

What was your inspiration?

I am a graphic designer so naturally I have a fondness for the color combination CMYK. It stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. However, the K is for "Key" not actually for the "k" in black.

Years ago, when I was trying to teach myself to crochet I made an error in my granny square but because I was using 100% wool I was able to felt the floppy mess and it made a wonderful bowl.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud of the fact that I was able to turn some boring white yarn and a bit of dye into something unexpected.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Dyecatcher sheets are awesome. http://www.drugstore.com/shout-color-catcher-dye-trapping-in-wash-cloths/qxp73784
