What was your inspiration?

Seeing a few swedish weaving projects my friend had made, she offered to teach me how to make a baby blanket.

What are you most proud of?

I finished it "Just in time" for Christmas, when i got to meet my newest grandson.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Start with a small project. Use the natural or ecru color monks cloth for the first time, the white can be bothersome to the eyes.
Pre-shrink, make sure you sew all around the ends,then wash and dry before you start weaving. Variegated yarns looks wonderful!
