What was your inspiration?
My grandson saw the panel with the fox and wanted a quilt designed around it. The snow landscape was a companion fabric to the panel. I used the color finder tool on equilter to find other fabrics that would be a perfect match.
What are you most proud of?
My grandson who is 16 thought of quilts as girly. He never wanted a quilt, When he saw the fox panel he was open to designing one together. Getting my grandson involved in the world of quilting was very gratifying. I think he has a new appreciation for the work and art of quilting.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid to take a risk and when you are quilting for someone get them engaged in the project (unless it's a surprise of course).
