What was your inspiration?
I am in a fibre arts group, and we were learning to paint faces with Shiva Paint Sticks. I, then, started this Craftsy Class, Stupendous Stitching, and didn't want to do as is, and decided to use the face I did and make the hair the class.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the way all the stitching really enhances the face. I absolutely loved the hand embroidery, which I had never done before, and swore that I wouldn't, and am so surprised by how much I love it -- LOVE IT, LOVE IT -- OMG, it was so much fun - my project went from being, "OK, if it's ruined, it's OK," to "OMG, I have to show everyone". My first Craftsy Class and I am going to take more!!!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just do it! It was a blast!!
