For the greek cross, I selected two colours that I thought would complement each other. I used a largish bold print for the cross, and a yellow tone on tone for the corners, nothing too loud as I didn't want the corner colour to stand out more then the cross. For the other block, I decided to use a stripey fabric that would look interesting based upon the design of the block.
