What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go slowly when cutting out the silhouettes. I've been told that this is the hardest part of making the mug rugs. The figures are tiny and even a little slip the of scissors can lop off a hand or create a strange appearance. One of my customers said that she learned the hard way that the cutting was not something to tackle at the end of an exhausting day. Fortunately, the fabrics bits are so small that a messed up figure really isn't a great loss.

I am just in love with your wonderful silhouette range! This is another great set you have dreamed up. Ps: a pair of nail scissors worked well for me cutting out the figures.

I love that you like my silhouettes! It makes my day to hear such sweet compliments! Nail scissors are good! For those tiny inner spaces i use a Gingher 3" embroidery scissors. They are very sharp and pointy, much like the good German nail scissors.

Hi 2 strings. I love your brain. You always capture the moment of children and their pets playing. Always makes me smile. P.S. - my Mom is visiting the end of this week. I can hardly wait to show her your work here at Craftsy.

Thank you again! You are so, so sweet! With that positive encouragement for small accomplishments I can tell that you are a fantastic art instructor. Give your mom a hug from me! Moms are so precious.

I am so enjoying these patterns. You can use them for so many different projects. Using the invisable thread is new to me and a real challenge, however so worth the effort...Thanks and keep up the good work.

I'm so glad you like them! invisible thread has many uses, but I'm still learning about all of the different threads available and how they alter the finished work.
