What are you most proud of? Sticking with this until the end.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Keep checking your measurements. Making a cardboard template of the block provides a quick way to check.

It looks harder than it is. You just have to measure carefully. I found a tutorial on youtube. First I watched the entire video and then I kept my computer right in front of me as I worked, pausing the video as I completed each step. I think they look magical and one day I want to make an entire quilt of just these kinds of blocks.

I would love to watch that video too, can you tell me what the address is please. Well done a real credit to you & your sewing skills. Congratulations from Anne of Dalby Qld Australia.

Here's the link to the video: If that doesn't work, go to Search for "hollow blocks quilting." The video is by Penny Halgren. The placement of light, dark, and medium colors is crucial. Rather than using her measurements, I adapted Laura's pattern to this look. Let me know if you make one, Anne from Australia. Thank you for your nice comments. It's my favorite block I ever made.
