Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »
InstructionsIf your backing fabic is quite thin cotton, as mine was, I recommend using some 'stitch n tear' type stabilising backing to add a little more strength to make your stitches neater.
Type of item: Functional
Style: Retro / Vintage, Cute, Traditional
I've used a selections of scraps for the dresden 'blades (left over from previous blocks) and I've actually used a cotton bed sheet for the backing and cecntre circle fabric as it was no longer needed but in new condition :D
What was your inspiration?
What are you most proud of?
The neat shapes and just how straight forward I actually found this block to be :D
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
