If your backing fabic is quite thin cotton, as mine was, I recommend using some 'stitch n tear' type stabilising backing to add a little more strength to make your stitches neater.Difficulty:

I've used a selections of scraps for the dresden 'blades (left over from previous blocks) and I've actually used a cotton bed sheet for the backing and cecntre circle fabric as it was no longer needed but in new condition :D
