What advice would you give someone starting this project? Bernina makes an attachment "Circular Embroidery Attachment" that I used to create the cirles in the middle of the block. I had to practice for a while, you will note the 1st block is a little off and the second block's circle is right on. This is a really helpful attachment for making circles without initially cutting them out. If you buy one, go on to the Bernina website and down load the foot book project for this attachment. You do not need stablizer just any hoop you have laying around that is big enough to clear the stiching area. I used it on my old mechanical Bernina that is about 15 - 20 years old it worked with no problems.
