Thank you. I'm not really sure yet what the purpose of this quilt will be, honestly haven't thought that far ahead. This has been a wonderful learning experience for me, and that's what I focused on when I started this project. I've been sewing for my whole life (since age 9 and I'm now a Gramma), but have only been quilting seriously for about a year and a half.

I didn't start sewing as early as you, but Mom made a lot of my clothes. I didn't start sewing until I was a young adult and married. Just started quilting about 1 1/2 yrs ago too. This class has been really informational and great learning. How did you like the hexagon squares?
I really liked the hexies. I had never tried them before but have always been amazed by them. The only "vintage" quilt I have is a grandmothers flower garden handmade by my great gramma 85 years ago. She made it for my Mama's bed when she was 10.
Thank you. If you mean my double star doesn't have any citron in it, it's because I made several blocks with just my gray fabrics and it happens to be one of them. :-)
