What was your inspiration?
My daughter likes retro so I styled this sweater with a fitted waist and wide neckline for a hip retro jacket style.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The yarn I used is chunky weight. It was tricky getting the fit I wanted and it would be much easier if you used the worsted yarn that the pattern uses. I knitted three other sweaters using this pattern and they turned out great. Keep trying it on as you go along and stop increasing if it gets too wide or change your increases to every 4 rows.
