wanted to remake a quilt I had made for someone else, this time in bright colors for summer

the combination of colors and patterns! I tried to go wild

take your time cutting each square carefully.

Love ot! Bright colors and patterns won't show picnic dirt and won't have to be washed as often. I'm currently finishing a picnic quilt for my daughter who has three little boys. Color was a consideration. : )

so true! but I was still worried about dirt getting on it the first we had it out, especially when we were taking pictures haha my poor husband's arms were dying!

I've got a charm pack of baby blues, pinks and greys, and have been trying to work out an arrangement for them... I will have to give this one a go as it's similar-ish colours!
