What are you most proud of? I was hopeless with charts - I got so confused and wouldn't even try them. The reason I chose "Mastering Lace Shawls' was to finally learn how to read them and not have to keep ripping back. Well, thanks to Laura, I'm now able to read and follow charted patterns - the shawl came out GREAT and I absolutely L.O.V.E. it!! Thank you again, Laura - I'm so much more confident with charts now and I have a gorgeous summer shawl to prove it!

The yarn worked well with this pattern. The shawl came out wonderfully.

Judy, First of all I admire the way you chose to show your shawl. I'm going to remember this for when I get mine finished. I'm a slow poke but am enjoying every minute. I'm just starting the Planet section. I can see your stitches, and the Plasma section so well. It gives me hope that when it is off of the needles and blocked that it will look like yours. I had trouble with the Plasma section but finally got it right. I keep on forgetting that I'm 79 now and my hands don't work the same. So now I'm taking my time, much better than doing a lot of frogging. Congratulations.

I'm back again. I just realized that I could enlarge the picture. All I can say is WOW. The colours worked out so well and makes the stitches stand out.
