What materials did you use? Kaufman Kona Cotton for the face, Benartex New York State of Mind for this brick wall, and the Yellow Submarine Line for the blue in the eye glasses that has the text "All You Need Is Love" on it over and over again. The batting is two layers of Quilters Dream 80/20. I did a facing instead of a binding because i didn't want anything to deter from the image of John Lennon. I kept the seam ripper edges crisp so the image would remain sharp.

What are you most proud of? that i did it as a quilt as you go and, of course, that it's a finished project instead of a UFO.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? try it out, the class makes complex images very easy to achieve.

Oh my god! How do you keep the seam ripper so sharp. Would love to know that. The image is really great and looks perfect. It must have taken a long time to accomplish this complex parts like the hair! I like your detailed description of the process in your answer above. Great Art! Thanks.
