Instructions

Use a felt board to set it up so you can see the pattern before you attempt to sew it out. Fun Project.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Charity

Style: Cute

Materials

Solid fat quarters for the body and stripes for the borders.

What was your inspiration?

This is not my pattern. I found it on the net free I think by Janet Wickell????? I only had donations of fat quarters and wanted to make a quilt to raffle off at our Rustlers square dance club silent auction.

is the link to the pattern and instructions.

What are you most proud of?

Making something with limited resources and not having to buy anything. I was given the fat quarters and thought gosh what to do with this. I searched the internet and this project just said make me make me. So I did.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Use a felt board or some way to put the block up and stand back and look at them before sewing like the instructions say. Design Wall......

This is on my list of quilts to make. Yes, the pattern is on Janet Wickell's website. I think it's just fun to play with colors. You did a great job on this!
