What was your inspiration?
I have long been fascinated with entrelac, and this pattern cropped up on the cover of my Spin-Off magazine as various spinners interpreted the pattern, so I was determined to try. My friend is allergic to wool, and also is hot-blooded so she can only wear minimal headgear even in the coldest weather. I knew the Quant headband was for her!
What are you most proud of?
This is the third of my efforts, and I'm glad to say the pattern is well written and is easily followed, even for someone as pattern-averse as I am.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you've ever been attracted to entrelac, this project is a good way to start. It's short, simple, and by the end you'll know if you ever want to knit anything in entrelac again. Plus, it's a fun way to play with color if you're so inclined.
