What was your inspiration?
I found this amazing chest for sale and it was a total mess. The construction on it, however, was excellent. It's a heavy piece, the inside is completely lined and was, originally, well made. I just thought it needed some love (and paint) to be brought back to life - and I was right!
What are you most proud of?

What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pick out a well made, solid piece to begin with and choose a good color scheme - you can't go wrong!
