Materials
One layer chocolate cake (the top lid), three layers chocolate cake ( the jewelry box). Fondant covered with gum paste bow on top.
What was your inspiration?
This cake was my earlier work, I still love it very much. I made this cake last year for my friend, her name is Crystal and she loves pearls, so I came up a jewelry box cake with string of pearls hanging out and a big piece of crystal on the side of her cake.
The funny thing was on that same day it was the Queen in England's birthday, because the design of the bow on top of the cake, everybody thought I can serve this cake to the Queen in England, I felt honored!!
What are you most proud of?
The Bow on top of the cake, it took me 2 hours to made it, but it looked so beautiful, I was so proud of myself!!
