What was your inspiration?

I wanted to recycle this fabric that was from an old dress. I loved the idea of a cowl being made from it. It was all one color so I used screen printing ink and randomly painted it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Try cutting up old graphic tee's and make a cool cowl or scarf from them. Leave the seams exposed for grungy, urban, hip look. Use your serger on the edges for even more visual interest.
