What was your inspiration?
I've been wanting to do one of these quilts for a while and my mother picked out this particular jelly roll. I turned it into a race quilt and gave it to her for Mother's Day 2012.
What are you most proud of?
How touched my mother was when she received it!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It takes longer than you think. I'm picky about straight seams so the top probably took me 2-3 hours total and I did it over a few evenings. It doesn't always need a border depending on the jelly roll.
