What was your inspiration?

I loved the fabric and had one jelly roll and one charm pack. When I saw Jenny showcasing the Jelly Charm square in the class I knew this was the one I wanted to try.

What are you most proud of?

The quilting. This was my first ever quilt, and the first time quilting on anything that wasn't a 'test sandwich". I chose a spiral pattern that I think really complemented the straight lines of this quilt. And of course, I'm most proud that I made a quilt!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have a design wall or at least a large white sheet on which you can arrange the squares so that you don't end up with too many of one colour or tone together.

This is really lovely. And it demonstrates Jenny's point that the color of the border determines the overall perceived color of the quilt - this could have been a cool color quilt. Love it this way!
