What are you most proud of? The new fit! These jeans would fit when I first put them on, but within minutes they would stretch to the point of falling down. I was just very happy that I got them altered so they are wearable, and I enjoyed learning something new. I think the alterations are hardly noticeable, and I hope to get better with practice.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Angela's tips for faux topstitching and hammering seams are great. Also, I am so glad she included how to maneuver those bulky seams. I don't know how I ever sewed without my "hump jumper"- I had a combo point turner/hump jumper, but I didn't know what it was for! Now I know I will get a lot of use out of it.

Thanks! I wear them all day and they don't fall down even without a belt! It's a revelation!

Great Job! I have some jeans that I need to alter, but first I think I need to enroll in this class. Thanks for the inspiration!
