Jean-ius: Reverse Engineer Your Favorite Fit »

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Classic

Materials

Acid Wash Denim from Jo-ann buttonhole thread

What was your inspiration?

Pattern made from previous pair of jeans I had fitted; but lost altered pattern

What are you most proud of?

These were perfect fit after first draft of using Kenneth King's jean copy class.

Turns out I lost my original fitted pattern that I had made for jeans, and wanted to make more. So I used
a pair of jeans that I had already made up, and went chapter by chapter thru Kenneth King's class. These are
the best fitting jeans yet. (And now I have my pattern, safely marked and put away).

Here's a picture of the first pair up close; I'll post pix of the other 5 pairs. I'm happy with the fit on all of them.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take your time, and follow Kenneth's instructions, you won't be disapointed!

Cute. You're really making good use. I've signed up for the class, but have not yet started it.
