|Here are some details about my project:|
|Style||Traditional, Retro / Vintage|
What materials did you use? Wool felt as an insert where the lower sleeve joins the bodice. I inserted a gusset as the sleeves were too tight.
What are you most proud of? I can now wear it! I've always loved it but felt uncomfortable. The alteration has also allowed room for my fuller bust. So easy to do. I cut a piece of scrap for the size of the hole I made, sewed it across and down in the centre to make match points, and then sewed it in, zig zagged it, and top stitched so that it looked part of the jacket. Now I'm itching to get into the wardrobe and alter uncomfortable clothes that cost a fortune and I don't wear!!!
