What was your inspiration?

Kenneth D King, of course! And my favorite pair of jeans.

What are you most proud of?

They look like real jeans. The finishing details are all very professional-looking.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

My jeans look amazing but they are a bit big on me. The problem is that the model jeans are stretch denim, and so is the fabric I used for these, but the fabric I used for the muslin is not stretch. If your jeans are made out of stretch denim, it'll make it harder to fit the muslin correctly. What I should have done is make the muslin bigger but then decrease the size again when making the actual jeans. Also, make sure it fits very snugly at the waist.
The only other advice I have is-- do everything exactly how Kenneth tells you. It will result in an amazing pair of pants.

Thanks for the advice on the muslin. I think I'll make my muslin with cheap denim fabric from Joann's using coupon. It would be worth it to get the fit right.
