What was your inspiration?
I wanted to learn more bead weaving techniques, and I love using gemstones and semi-precious stones.
What are you most proud of?
This is my first attempt at this kind of bead weaving technique with larger beads and I think it came out great.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
As you are working with a long piece of thread, be very careful not to get it all tangled and knotted up when stitching the beads. I did get a knot at the beginning which became very tight and I couldn't unravel, so had to cut and start again :(
