Materials
I used Jasper Coins and surrounded them with 15/0 Taho beads. I used Taho 11/0, 3mm Triangle beads to make the pattern. The fringe is made of 11/0 and 8/0 beads, Kingsman Mine Turqouise, sterling silver, and sillver alloy points.
What was your inspiration?
The colors in the Ocean viewed from a high point on the California Coast.
What are you most proud of?
This is only my 4th piece in this genre of jewelry making. I love, infact I am becoming addicted to bead embroidery.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be patient, be willing to undo stitches that are not placed correctly. Watch the string tension. Once you get started let your heart and skill loose and go for it.
