What materials did you use? This quilt is based on Joe Cunningham's "Three Crazy Sisters" Quilt - I used scraps leftover from Japanese Quilt I (a half-square triangles quilt). I didn't limit myself to two colours! - I also didn't stick to the "rule" - from the outset I cut a set of strips that were 2" instead of 2 1/2" so my block was 6" instead of 6 1/2". I also didn't always keep the pieced strip in the centre of the block, and I did add some solid blocks for interest.

What are you most proud of? I was happy with the distribution of colour - another time, I'd make the centre strip wider and the two side strips narrower to bring out the colour elements more.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it - this is a fast, simple quilt. I don't think I'm going to bind it - just sew the sandwich 1/4" from the edge and turn the quilt right side out.

Went very fast, much faster than I though it would go. I ended up with a 7 X 9 block quilt, and unequal borders.

I really like how this turned out. Nice job. Very pretty.
