What was your inspiration?
I bought the pattern on a first trip to Kyoto and the yellow retro lady fabric on a trip after to Tokyo. The material is slightly too thick for a skirt and I only had a metre length so it seemed perfect for a bag.
What are you most proud of?
The pattern is entirely in Japanese, which I don't read, so I had to 'read the pattern pictures'.^^
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Trust the pattern illustrations on how the pieces go together and don't try to think one step ahead.
