What materials did you use? Craft Cottons from my stash

What are you most proud of? Hopefully this is an example of an analogous scheme. The eagle eyed may notice a substitution on strip B (the second from the end)....... I'd run out of the original fabric and the replacement was noticeably lighter. It looks very dark to me though, so maybe I got it wrong. Today I played around with the remaining strips and produced something I like much better...possibly because the very dark red/purple has been diluted with more placements and thinner strips. I also used the lighter swirly blue which looks better alongside the other fabrics (I think)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be afraid,be very afraid...hahahhaaha, Only kidding!! The only way to learn is to take the plunge and do it, if you make mistakes you will (hopefully) learn from them.

I like your idea of creating the blocks and seeing what you come up with. I might try that myself as I'm not fond of the completed quilt as shown.
