I don't really understand the style thing... I'm finding the class very helpful for technique but I'm still not much good at this!

What was your inspiration?

I have a quilt I want to make but I really need practice at technique so I am taking this course.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just do it!

Thank you. I think it looks better with the yellow in the middle... And, apart from the yellow, this was all remnants from our local market.

Good for you! I think "Just do it" is a perfect approach. I did the BOM last year, and it really helped my confidence with technique. Keep up the good work!!! :)

Oh, I think the stripes are great! Your block has a very modern look! These would look great with a plain grey or black background fabric. Actually, there are a lot of options for background fabric...Lol! Just have fun with it!

Thank you. I'm working with what I can get locally. I think I may do more of the yellow centres as they worked better than the black ones.
