What was your inspiration?

2013 BOM

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The 1/4-inch seam is very important and I am really going to try to be accurate. I might start cutting my pieces a little generous so that I can trim the blocks accurately.

I am still undecided about fabric for my 2013 BOM. Christmas fabrics sound pretty. I think that's a good idea. As for another class, I've enjoyed Stupendous Stitching with Carol Ann Waugh and Magical Jelly Roll Quilts with Kimberly Einmo. Good Luck, Nancy.

Thanks, Pam. Guess this will be another one of those quilts where I don't have a clue how it will end up looking. I just wanted to make the block and used some scraps that were laying around. Good grief! I don't know how to think ahead of the moment.

LOL Arlene you're doing better than me... I can't decide what fabric to use for this quilt, not even for the first block! Bit different seeing the whole quilt this year but don't know that it's helping me any LOL.

Pam, I know what you mean. Not so sure if I'll stick with the fabrics I have available. Just not feeling it. Finally put the 2012 BOM together. Still need borders.
