What are you most proud of? I actually finished the blocks within the month of January.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Altough very simple, it is fun and quick to make and just think about it, by the end of the year you will have accumulated enough blocks to complete an entire project without taking much time away from working on other projects. It will make you smile!

I have a question about using a black fabric for the background. Are we supposed to prewash it before using it? I have my eye on another quilt pattern that requires a black background and nowhere in the book or anywhere I have looked does it say to prewash any of the materials.

Hi Gehn, Thank you for your comment. I tend to prewash all of my fabrics but especially the dark colors. I not a requirement but a matter of choice. Happy Quilting!

OOPS! I meant to say it's not a requirement rather than I not

Love the little cardinals in your print fabric.
