What materials did you use? Cotton fabrics and threads.

What are you most proud of? That they turned out and I was able to get both blocks down to 12.5 in square.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are like me, the asterisk block will be difficult because it can be hard to match seams. After seam ripping twice I just let bygones be bygones and let it go. I have a hard time with seams that don't match and that it's almost impossible to get them to match with this block if you really aren't trying. They certainly are cool looking and I'm glad I did them but probably won't be adding these to any of my regularly made blocks.
